JeevikaThe 10th Jeevika: Asia Livelihood Documentary Festival is calling for entries. This unique documentary festival taking place annually in New Delhi promotes documentaries that capture livelihood challenges faced by the rural and urban poor.

Dashbaord Lead PicCentre for Civil Society in partnership with Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF) is organizing a three day residential ipolicy, certificate course on a liberal approach to public policy for journalists. The objective of the course is to equip participants with tools to better understand and evaluate the effects of public policies so as to better distinguish between objective facts and merely subjective opinions and intentions of policies from their actual results. This award winning course focuses on issues in the key areas of education, livelihood and good governance.

FriedmanTo celebrate Milton Friedman’s 101 birth anniversary Centre for Civil Society (CCS) and Friedman Foundation for Educational Choice is providing grants to young leaders (18-25 years) to take Friedman’s ideas to campuses across India. The top three entries will be awarded prize money worth upto Rs 28,000 on 31 July during Friedman's 101 birthday celebration at CCS office in Delhi.
