Recent decades have seen multinational from emerging economies expanding their operation and market reach. Also, Indian Multinationals have been in news lately, so the question which arises is “ What are the similarities and differences between multinationals from emerging and developed economies in terms of internationalization path and competitive advantages?”

'No detention' policy under Right to Education Act (RTE) requires promoting a child without ensuring learning outcomes and raises concerns of dropout rates, demoralization of the students etc. Now the question arises: Are only zero-sum outcomes of detaining and compelling a child to repeat the grade or promoting the child without attaining requisite learning the only options? Does this call for a pedagogical transformation? Is early remedial intervention within a system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) a feasible alternative?
