Centre for Civil Society organises Policy Roundtables for Members of Parliament on the RTE to discuss and debate the Model Rules as per the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009 (RTE Act). The School Choice Campaign and Penguin Books launches Professor James Tooley’s new “The Beautiful Tree-A Personal Journey into How the world’s Poorest People are Educating Themselves,” as part of the dialogue series. The book launch is followed by a panel discussion between the author, Mr Madhav Chavan, Co-founder and Director, Pratham; Ms Reshma Lohia, Correspondent for Lohia’s Little Angels School, Hyderabad; and Mr Ashish Rajpal, CEO, idiscoveri on quality education (delivery, implementation and monitoring) in India.
