Senior Associate, Communications
Aarat is a Senior Communications Associate at the Centre For Civil Society, where his duties involve outreach, content production & management and ensuring our message reaches beyond our strategic horizons. Prior to this, Aarat has worked with various forms of communications specialisations like with political parties, social enterprises, corporate organisations and the government.
Aarat graduated with a BA Hons in Broadcast Journalism from Nottingham Trent University, as a winner of the British Council Great Journalism Scholarship. He has experienced working with the media at the local, regional, national and the international level. He is keen on producing short documentary features and learning how to amalgamate policy-centric ideation with communication.
He is passionate about youth affairs, education and foreign policy in the Indian subcontinent. He speaks multiple languages like Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, French and Brijbhasha, and is keen on learning Arabic and German. He enjoys backpacking and has travelled to over 20 countries.
