Why is India poor and how can it become rich?

How does public policy shape your everyday choices?

What is the relationship between the citizen and the government?

If you have wondered about these questions and would like to know more, come join us for the iPolicy for Young Leaders program.

iPolicy is a two-day in-person introductory certificate course that introduces students and young professionals to a liberal approach to public policy. We aim to provide a first look at public policy, with expert interaction, and an opportunity to network with the Centre for Civil Society’s alumni base of over 11,000 students and young professionals.

Engage with a diverse cohort across the board over two days packed with hands-on learning. iPolicy has a host of guest lectures, group discussions, thought experiments, and policy games to provide you with a holistic understanding of public policy.

Applications are selected on a rolling basis!

Goals of iPolicy:

  • To create an engaging, open, and respectful environment where everyone is encouraged to think critically about social, economic, and political issues.
  • To evoke in participants a passionate inquiry into their values and role in creating a good society.
  • To equip participants with fundamental concepts of political economy and sound public policy, and enable them to understand the root cause of current challenges to effectively champion policy solutions through their profession.
  • To plug participants into a global network of opportunities to propel their intellectual growth, make personal connections, and access resources to help them advance their vision of a free society.

Who is this for?

  • You want to build an intuition for what makes for good public policy
  • You want to develop the skills needed for effective public policy analysis

“I am one of the first graduates of CCS' youth engagement programs. My experience has been incredible, given that I've gone from a student to being faculty now.” - Bhuvana Anand, Founder Director at Prosperiti

"The sessions were thoroughly engaging and extremely informative. I now hold a better perspective to examine the ’unseen’ and look beyond the apparent solutions proposed by the government to market failures.” - Sanaa Munjal, Senior Analyst, IPE Global Ltd.

“My experience with CCS Academy has been wonderful. In a mature economy, policy making is something very few people understand. Their ìpolicy course addresses the demand issues in policy – which is key in democratic government.” - Amir Ullah Khan, Professor at MCRHRDI Health
