Project Bolo English

For the academic year 2022-23, 300 schools including both budget private schools and semi-government schools registered with our program. We started working with learning centres for out-of-school children in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and New Delhi. The team also completed teacher training for ~4000 teachers who received spoken English application skills.

Procter & Gamble’s (P&G) Betiyan Fellowship, a unique scholarship program was launched in 2021-22 in collaboration with Centre for Civil Society to encourage female students to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and supply chain management. The Fellowship provides financial support and mentorship to promote women’s access and participation in technical and supply chain roles in the manufacturing and production sectors.

We received nominations for P&G Betiyan Fellowship 2023-24 from institutions offering STEM courses across Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Goa.

The Betiyan Fellowship coverage:

Financial support to women enrolled in ITIs, Polytechnic, Engineering and Management Institutes.
Mentorship engagement with experienced women professionals from STEM and supply chain roles.
Access to need-based career counselling.

Eligibility Criteria:

Female students pursuing STEM and supply chain management courses in ITIs, Polytechnic, Engineering and management institutions
Should be nominated by their institution.
Good academic performance and attendance in their course.
Selection is based on academic merit and program-defined socio-economic eligibility norm.
Institution should be located in any of the following states - Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Goa.
