Centre for Civil Society, New Delhi and the Socio-Legal Review, National Law School of India University, Bengaluru are hosting a one-day Symposium on 21st January, 2023 (Saturday) at India International Centre, Lodhi Road, Delhi titled ‘Street Vendors and the Law: Practices, Hierarchies, and Economic Citizenship’.

The Symposium is divided into three panels. Session I is on ‘Formal and Informal Networks, Norms, and Practices’; Session II is on ‘Urban Hierarchies and Spatial Contests’; and Session III is on ‘Street Vendors as Economic Citizens’. The speakers include: Dr. Parth J. Shah, Dr. Thathagatta Chatterji, Dr. Kulwinder Kaur, Ms. Shalini Sinha, Dr. Ajay Kumar Gautam, and many others.
