Background:

The Centre for Civil Society, a public policy think tank based in New Delhi invites applications for the position of Consultant for Blue Curriculum for a Sustainable Future Project. The Blue Curriculum for a Sustainable Future Project is an initiative of the Centre for Civil Society supported by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation. This module will create a Blue Curriculum for elementary schools of BIMSTEC countries. The Blue Curriculum will further be championed by a multi-country group of champions drawn from BIMSTEC countries in order to be integrated into their K12 curriculum.

 

 

 

Role of the Consultant: 

 

 

The consultant will lead the development, execution and management of the Consultant for Blue Curriculum

 

Responsibilities of Consultant:

  • Writing and publishing an elementary-level Blue Curriculum for students of member countries
  • Distribution of 5000 copies of the elementary level Blue curriculum in India, Bhutan, and Nepal using CCS and FNF networks.
  • Launch of a social media campaign based on research findings 
  • Dissemination/Presentation of the approach paper to policy influencers and academicians
  • Creation of a common WhatsApp group consisting of members to input and refine the Blue curriculum making it contextual 
  • Articles written and published in web portals like the Spontaneous Order on the importance and need of the Blue Curriculum.

 

Terms of Engagement:

 

This Consultant is required to complete all the deliverables by 30th November 2023.

Eligibility:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or above) from a leading university. 
  • Demonstrated interest in or understanding of liberal principles and concepts preferred 
  • Excellent communication skills in English and ability to create and disseminate original content 
  • Prior organisational experience in conducting academic events aimed at disseminating liberal ideas.
  • Familiar with social media management.
