Position Overview
The Centre for Civil Society seeks an experienced Curriculum Design Consultant to design and deliver comprehensive learning experiences across our key education initiatives. The consultant will be responsible for curriculum design, content development, team training and delivery, ensuring all outputs are completed within specified timelines.
Deliverables & Timelines
Design & Training Phase (20th September – 20th October 2025, 1 month)
- Regional Bootcamps (Betiyan Scholarship Program)
- Deliverable: 3- half-day’s immersive residential curriculum including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, session plans, bilingual resources (Hindi and English), and assessment tools.
- Outcome: train the CCS team to administer the bootcamp modules independently
- Advanced Citizenship Engagement Workshop for the shortlisted 25 Citizenship Champion Betiyan Scholars
- Deliverable: Advanced immersion session modules with interactive activities, assessment tools, and facilitator guides; designed in consultation with the Betiyan Scholarship and CCS Academy Teams. Train the CCS team on delivery and guide them in administering sessions during the workshop.
- Outcome: CCS team trained to deliver and administer the workshop sessions independently.
- Teacher Training Modules for how to implement edtech for the classroom (Language Learning Lab)
- Deliverable: Activity-based pedagogical frameworks to guide teachers in integrating EdTech applications effectively, including classroom activities, facilitator notes, and assessment rubrics to track learning outcomes and engagement.
- Outcome: CCS team trained to equip teachers to use EdTech tools efficiently, ensuring improved classroom engagement and learning results.
- Digital Parenting Workshop
- Deliverable: Bilingual (Hindi and English) parent workshop curriculum, resource guide, and facilitator toolkit on digital literacy, cyber safety, and effective EdTech usage for children.
- Outcome: CCS team trained to deliver parent workshops effectively.
- Savitribai Phule Speaking Bee Competition (Structured Blueprint)
- Deliverable: Design comprehensive competition guidelines and blueprint, including rules, scoring rubrics, jury framework, school briefing materials, and facilitation notes.
- Outcome: CCS team trained to administer and manage the competition independently.
Training-of-Trainers (ToT) for CCS Staff
- Conduct ToT sessions covering all initiatives.
- Provide guidance, mock facilitation practice, and training manuals.
- Outcome: CCS teams fully equipped to implement all programs independently.
- 5+ years of experience in curriculum design, preferably in education, citizenship, or youth development.
- Demonstrated expertise in participatory methodologies (e.g., design thinking, experiential learning).
- Strong facilitation skills and experience working with diverse groups (teachers, students, parents).
- Proficiency in developing digital and print learning materials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
