Centre for Civil Society is an independent public policy think tank based in New Delhi working on outreach, research and advocacy on critical public policy issues that affect India. JOB PROFILE
We are currently seeking a committed and passionate (Senior) Associate- Communications, PR & Branding to oversee development & execution of consistent, high quality communication for CCS as a brand as well as our projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an overall media, PR and communication strategy for internal as well as external audience;
- Oversee development, execution & adherence of CCS brand guidelines across all communication channels & collaterals
- Develop guidelines & processes to ensure consistent, high quality communication across platforms, channels and collaterals (on-line as well as offline);
- Ensure training/orientation to CCS team members & consultants in order to follow guidelines.
- Lead development & delivery of communication projects/ideas, in order to enhance brand presence amongst key stakeholders (includes media, PR agencies, government, donors etc)
- Develop & review content and editorial operations for publications and websites;
- As and when required, contribute in the form of articles, blogs, stories, papers etc
- Manage and expand the network of media professionals and organize regular meet-ups of CCS leadership with media.
- Design and deliver workshops and sessions for orienting other mainstream media professionals in liberal concepts and ideas.
- Oversee development of communication materials for individual projects and campaigns, as well as for CCS on the whole;
- Ensure consistent, timely and appropriate updation of CCS website and blogs;
- Contribute to proposals, and award applications;
- Post-graduate degree or equivalent in journalism, communications or public relations;
- 2-4 years professional experience in media, brand management, executing communication products/campaigns, or in managing Public Relation events/activities
- Experience in designing communication products for varied audiences
- Proven track-record in campaign-based PR and branding and experience in working in an international environment as well as coordination of rollouts across the country.
