Centre for Civil Society (CCS) is an independent public policy think tank based in New Delhi, focusing on education, livelihood, and policy training to promote choice and accountability across private and public sectors. CCS engages with policy and opinion leaders through research, pilot projects, and advocacy to translate policy into practice.
Position Overview
As a Content Creation Intern at the Centre for Civil Society (CCS), you will play a key role in bringing our ideas, initiatives, and impact stories to life through engaging visual and digital content.
You’ll be responsible for shooting and creating short-form videos, social media posts, and storytelling content that communicate CCS’s work in a relatable and creative way. From brainstorming content ideas to experimenting with formats and visuals, you’ll work closely with the communications team to craft narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being both behind and in front of the camera, has a strong sense of design and storytelling, and is excited to blend creativity with social impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualise and brainstorm creative content ideas that align with CCS’s campaigns, events, and initiatives.
- Shoot short videos, interviews, and behind-the-scenes clips for social media and communication use.
- Edit and produce engaging video content (reels, shorts, stories, etc.) using accessible editing tools.
- Design visually appealing graphics, posters, and digital collaterals using Canva or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with the communications team to develop content calendars and plan upcoming campaigns.
- Write captions, taglines, and copy that simplify complex policy ideas into engaging narratives.
- Conduct quick research on trends, formats, and styles to keep CCS’s content fresh and relevant.
- Assist in documenting CCS events, workshops, and field visits through photos and short videos.
- Maintain consistency in brand tone, design, and messaging across all digital platforms.
Eligibility
- Open to students from any discipline.
- Must be able to work from the CCS office (New Delhi) at least twice a week.
- Should know Canva, basic video editing, and social media trends.
- Comfortable with shooting and creating short-form content.
Duration
Internship duration: 2 months minimum. Extensions may be granted based on performance and project requirements.
Compensation
This is an unpaid internship. Interns will gain hands-on experience in content creation, digital communication, and storytelling within the public policy space, along with a certificate of completion at the end of the internship.
