Position Overview

The Centre for Civil Society is seeking a Junior Associate for its Betiyan Scholarship Program. The program focuses on supporting and empowering young girls from underserved communities by enabling access to education, mentorship and skill-building opportunities.

The Junior Associate will play a key role in supporting the program’s implementation, coordination, research and documentation. The role requires close engagement with scholars, partners and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and effective tracking of program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Project Specific

 

  • Support end-to-end implementation of the Betiyan Scholarship Program
  • Coordinate with scholars, tele-coaches  and partner institutions for regular engagement
  • Maintain and update scholar databases, trackers and program records and monitoring of the same
  • Support data collection, collation and analysis for program evaluation
  • Draft reports, case studies, social media content  and other program documentation
  • Assist in organizing  bootcamps, workshops, meetings and program-related events
  • Facilitate outreach and communication with stakeholders
  • Handle any additional tasks assigned by the CCS team within the scope of the program

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications

  • Must be a past scholar of the Betiyan Scholarship Program
  • Freshers or candidates who have recently completed studies in ITI, Polytechnic, Engineering are encouraged to apply
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships included)
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Willingness to relocate to New Delhi for the duration of the role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva and Google Workspace
  • Ability to manage data and maintain trackers efficiently
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Keen interest in education, gender and development sector

Compensation

Compensation will be offered in line with industry standards, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
