Position Overview
The Centre for Civil Society is seeking two detail-oriented and motivated Female Project Interns to join its Policy Research and Outreach Team. As interns, you will gain broad exposure to the diverse portfolio of projects that CCS undertakes, with a primary focus on its education-related initiatives. These include the Betiyan Scholarship Program (supported by P&G India), Bolo English: Language Learning Lab Project, Blue Curriculum: Educators Lab Project, and the School Choice National Conference (SCNC).
This internship offers a unique learning experience at the intersection of research, policy, and practice. You will contribute to projects that empower students, build educator capacity, and shape national conversations on school choice and education reform. By engaging in scholar support, teacher training coordination, event management, and stakeholder outreach, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery of CCS’s education initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Project Specific
- Manage Data: Handle and organize large datasets across projects (scholars, educators, and institutions) using Excel/Google Sheets. Verify documents and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate: Communicate with scholars, educators, and institutional partners via email and phone for follow-ups and updates.
- Support Logistics: Assist in planning and organizing regional bootcamps, training sessions, webinars, and national-level conferences.
- Create Reports: Contribute to preparing presentations, donor updates, and program reports across all education projects.
- Multi-project Support: Provide operational and administrative assistance as required to ensure smooth implementation of CCS’s education portfolio.

Qualifications
- University students/recent graduates in Social Work, or a related field. are welcome to apply
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, Canva and Google Workspace
- Ability to generate communication collaterals including but not limited to policy reports, research articles and blogs
- Keen interest in applying theoretical knowledge into complex on-ground realities
- An availability to engage in person for approximately 40 working hours/week in office
Compensation
This is an unpaid internship. Interns will gain valuable experience and have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on education programs and practice.
