About CCS Academy:

CCS Academy is the policy training vertical at CCS organises various certificate courses, policy meets, seminars, competitions, festivals and colloquia to engage people with social and economic issues through a first principles understanding of public policy. We offer a variety of programs for a wide range of audiences including high school and college students, journalists, MPs, bureaucrats, academicians, and filmmakers. 

Our unique focus on public policy and long-term solutions also requires us to be in constant dialogue with all stakeholders, in order to move the needle on our mission. This dialogue and communication outreach is critical in building a cohesive narrative towards our larger goal of a free and open society. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of all certificate courses and workshops in public policy offered by CCS Academy.
    • Facilitation of the module
    • End-to-end project management 
    • Design and deliver sessions
    • Review and revise pedagogy and tools of delivery 
  • Track and manage finances for projects
  • Work closely with the digital marketing team to produce audio/video content such as podcasts, short videos, etc., that furthers Academy’s mission and vision
  • Assist with commissioning, editing, and publishing of written blog pieces from program alumni for the in-house Spontaneous Order blog 
  • Assist with the maintenance of the Indian Liberals archive and dissemination of writings archived on the website. 
  • Execute an alumni engagement strategy to keep the past and current graduates engaged with CCS ideas and activities
    • Track, monitor, and engage alumni with existing internal and external opportunities
    • Organise meets, and events for alumni to create a like-minded community
  • Assist with fundraising and grant proposals to develop the future stream of Academy’s work.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Master's degree in Economics, Public Policy, Law or other liberal arts program.
  • Proven skills in facilitation; background in conducting training sessions is an advantage.
  • Strong people skills, ability to network and develop relations.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in academic or development projects.
  • An open mind and curiosity for liberal ideas.  
  • Excellent writing and editing skills and an ability to create and disseminate original content.
