What is the workshop about?
Because of India's past as a food-insecure country, various laws that restricted trade and storage were adopted, these policies hurt India's image as a reliable trade partner and limited investment in post-harvest facilities. Two Acts, the Essential Commodities Act (ECA) and the Foreign Trade (Development Regulation) Act (FTDR), empower the government to limit warehousing capacity and regulate the trade of commodities.
With great pleasure, we would like to invite you all to the upcoming 2nd Indian Liberal's Annual Lecture happening on the 27th of November 2022.
Our very first lecture last year was delivered by noted author and journalist Sagarika Ghose on "The Case for Individual Liberty".
The online workshop will provide the participants an introduction to different key aspects of Fundraising. These key aspects include - understanding the fundraising cycle, different approaches and methods for fundraising, understanding the best practices for grants and contract management. Furthermore, we will also master the skills to effectively manage relations with Donors enabling us to reach out to and retain new donors.
