Understanding Us - Navigating Gender and Puberty for Adolescents

"Understanding Us - Navigating Gender and Puberty for Adolescents" is an educational booklet designed for students. Its objective is to provide a comprehensive overview of critical subjects within the realm of sex education, including topics such as the distinction between Sex and Gender, Stereotypes, Physical and Emotional Changes during Puberty, and Sexual Reproduction.

This publication is a part of our Gender Sensitization and Sexual Health Awareness project, generously supported by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom South Asia. The primary aim of this initiative is to integrate age-appropriate facets of Comprehensive Sexuality Education (or CSE) into school curricula and enable adolescents to comprehend their physical, biological, and emotional changes more positively. Moreover, it seeks to empower them with the social skills necessary for cultivating healthy relationships.
