Researching Reality 2024
About the Researching Reality Training Program

Are you looking to improve your public policy skills? Do you want to delve deeper into the complexities of economics, public policy, law, and primary research? Then look no further than Researching Reality (RR), a premier research training program offered by Centre for Civil Society, New Delhi.

At RR, we aspire to attract participants from diverse backgrounds who will bring their unique perspectives and problem-solving skills.  The program will create a melting pot where RR scholars will have the opportunity to brainstorm and come up with novel insights and potential solutions to deal with current policy challenges.

Theme for 2024

This year’s program will explore the theme of ‘Policy Challenges in School Education’. This is in response to the urgent challenge of stagnating learning outcomes in school education in India. While student enrollments in India have been going up, this has not translated into an improvement in learning outcomes. This will adversely affect the emotional and economic well-being of children as well as have disastrous long-term consequences for the country. Hence, the participants will explore the current challenges and discover solutions.

Capstone Project

Scholars will get to work on a capstone project. These capstone projects will be compiled and published in a compendium. Trainees will have access to CCS' extensive library and resources.
