As a part of P&G Shikshas prominent CSR initiative - the Betiyan Scholarship, we identified and awarded 63 girl students pursuing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) with financial aid and mentorship. The program has already supported hundreds of women, breaking down barriers and paving the way for skilled women professionals to excel in manufacturing, technology, engineering, and various other STEM-related roles.

In a compelling contribution to The Atlantic Council's 'The Freedom and Prosperity Equation,' we present a thought-provoking perspective on India's performance on freedom and prosperity indexes. One of the featured essays, 'Understanding Indias freedoms on the path to prosperity,' authored by Prashant Narang and Parth J. Shah, delves deep into India's status regarding legal, political, and economic freedoms, identifying crucial areas for improvement. The literature illuminates the path to objective assessments and fosters a consensus for impactful reforms in India's future.

Liberalism & Social Justice with Stefanie and Jayme

We hosted Prof Stefanie Haeffele & Prof Jayme Lemke, Senior Research Fellows at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, at our office in New Delhi on 2 August 2023 for a discussion on the topic "Liberalism & Social Justice''. They shared their views & research findings on the topic and fielded questions from the audience. The conversation explored liberalism and social justice and the differences between theory and practise. Our speakers also emphasised the necessity of reevaluating traditional liberal principles in light of changing times and a demographic's socioeconomic circumstances. The conversation was beneficial for all present, including several CCS alumni.

Teacher Training session on Comprehensive Sexuality Education

Under the Dharampal Fellowship and the Gender Sensitization & Sexual Health Awareness project, supported by FNF South Asia, we conducted a session on Comprehensive Sexuality Education for budget private school teachers on 13 September 2023. Experts from the Population Foundation of India facilitated the session, addressing topics like gender & identity, growth & change in adolescents, consent & boundaries, and debunked some common myths. They also discussed pedagogical techniques and the necessity of preparing educators to create a positive and safe learning environment for students.

Inviting Collaborations with Bangalore-based Professionals to Create STEM Modules!

We are creating STEM modules for class 9 students in Karnataka government schools delivered by professionals in the field in order to enhance their scientific temperament. Write to us if you know or are a Bangalore-based Kannada-speaking professional in food standards, archaeology, automobile and civil engineering, radiology/echocardiography, marine science, weather forecasting, soil science, architecture, or public policy statistics!

With an objective to build a hard copy of a comprehensive collection of Indian Liberals, we published 'Architects of Tomorrow' as a collective repository celebrating 25 Liberals who paved the way for lasting change through their progressive ideologies and advocacy for individual rights, democratic values, and inclusive governance. Their collective pursuit is a testament to the harmonious convergence of ideas transcending social and economic barriers.
