Supported by the P&G Shiksha initiative, 'Women in STEM Caravan' was kick started with a powerful round table conference in New Delhi on 11th February and is going around several locations in India with the view to bring key stakeholders together to advance Women’s participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). We are delighted to collaborate on this Caravan with the Civil 20 Working Group on Gender Equality and Disability under India’s G20 Presidency.

The Missed Opportunity

In February, we featured liberal writings and speeches on the Union Budget of India spanning seven decades of Independence.

Published by Swatantra Party, “The Missed Opportunity” comprises speeches by its MPs, who expressed their discontent towards the Central Budget of 1967-68. This musing is the speech delivered by Mr Charanjit Rai, MP from the constituency of Dausa, Rajasthan, on June 8, 1967, in the Lok Sabha during a discussion on the General Budget.
